walked into this nice dealer during holidays...

Prices were pretty high but the inventory was quite nice.

Goodness ! here are the watches in great numbers and so people think that they are overpriced. Will they come down ? There are also tons of diamonds and they donīt come down in price.

I'm sure you meant watch 'dealer', not authorized 'dealer'. They seem to have no shortage.

There's certainly no shortage of vintage Rolex out there. It's just that the prices hurt a little

They have some great pieces in stock though.

In my personal opinion, for references that are still sold by Rolex, everything above msrp is overpriced. Rolex sets the price for the pieces they sell but keep scarcity witch only benefits second hand dealers who sell watches up to 150% of the original price. That's quite a shame to me and should be fixed by Rolex who are very well aware of the situation. Sad.

I'm in the province of Ticino in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland right at the Italian border...
