A forum member recommended a Haveston. I completely agree. This is a thick, well made strap. Robust stainless hardware. As good quality as Omega for much less!

OP, whatever you do, don’t go with a flimsy/cheap option. I learn the bad way that it leads to problems.

Best of luck on the deployment.

Wow I have to check out the Haveston straps but I do recommend the Erica’s Original MN. It’s stretchy but I’d say pretty damn robust and the most comfortable NATO/fabric strap I’ve ever worn.

I have the Erikas MN strap and love it, been my go to beater watch strap. Super comfortable bc it's like Levis stretch jeans.

Only problem with those is the hardware. I’ve had them and the buckle is thin and stamped.

I'm in the market too and having a horrible time finding good straps ( colour / quality) that aren't so long that you can use them to tow your boat if needed! For the most part, 254mm/10" is more than enough. Of course if you like the fold over 100 times to hide the excess look, nato strap choices are almost unlimited

Crown & Buckle makes a great strap. I’ve found that their standard NATO doesn’t require tucking but their premium NATO does. Here is the standard on grey. IMG_5644.jpg

I used to think the Crown And Buckle premium was the best....Until I bought a ToxicNATOs Shiznt.

You simply trim them. I have small wrists, so I trim my nato straps to fit me. No fold.

It will largely depend on the circumference of your wrist. Monkey Swag generally have short NATO straps which can be tucked in at least a little bit on my 6.75 inch circumference wrist. If your wrist is larger than mine then there won't be any need for tucking in.

Here's a mix of NATO straps from various brands.
