Really nice Omega Boutique visit
I stop into my local Omega boutique on occasion, their tech is a real watch guy and we chat about various watches every once in a while. I had a 2250.50 that I couldn't get the fit quite right. I decided to go with a different clasp that gave me the ability to extend a bit, pretty common thing now. Before we ordered everything, I tried on a ton of watches. Its been forever since I have seen a full case! Long story short, that sort of interaction and how great the team was has brought me back to Omega. I haven't had a speedmaster in a while, so I imagine that will be next.
I did get to try on the new Seamaster, which in photographs looks horrendous IMO. It's fantastic in almost every way. The rubber strap and the case fit perfectly, they really knocked it out of the park. |

Omega really has it dialed in on the whole customer service experience. In my experience, as a whole, Omega staff seem to have an appreciation of horology than Rolex staff. I can easily spend an hour in there trying on different things and enjoying a nice Macallan. Their watchmaker even helped me adjust a GS once. He noticed it was a little loose on my wrist, and I commented that I never bothered to adjust it because their bracelets are a bit of a PITA, so he offered to remove a link which surprised me because it's an OB, not an AD.
It's part of the reason I purchase from them rather than a grey. I could get the discount from a grey but I love going in to the OB whenever I can so I rather work with them. And they are always calling me when something cool comes in so that's fun. |

I totally agree! It’s much different. I imagine Rolex AD are different because most of them sell different brands or jewelry as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This might be my third one, this one I’m keeping. I tend to buy one, wear it for a bit and eventually release it. I think they really are one of the best feeling dive watches I’ve worn. For the price, i don’t think you can beat it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks great! I 100% agree iv never had a bad experience in a OB, they are always very friendly and they actually like watches and know about them, strange.

I'm kind of a fan of the boutiques too, especially for accessories and playing with watches. As great as they are i still struggle with paying full MSRP on something I can get for a whole lot less with a little shopping around

Been struggling with the fact that I paid MSRP for the new Seasmaster 300m last week at the Scottsdale Omega Boutique. The staff there is superb I might add. However... I am out with the wife after she says "let's go watch shopping for you." There was a moment when I could have said, "let's wait and head over to the Omega AD and get a 10-15% discount on this watch." (maybe - but probably). But, did I? I did not. I whipped out the AMEX. The whipped out the champagne. And we had a party...that's that and on to the next. |

Just did a Moonwatch thru a seller here, full set, full stickers, AD stamped warranty card. 40% less than retail with tax. Did visit an Omega boutique in town. They were nice but I knew more about the watch than the sales person did. Not sure the AD experience was critical foe me.
