Sub spotted on the news

He was getting grilled by the judiciary committee, but at least his wrist game was on point lol. From the looks of it seems to be a SubC Date. Looks to be the maxi case.

Disclaimer: not trying to make this post into a political discussion or anything of the sort. Just simply watch spotting as I always do.

What makes you say it’s a maxi?

I think you're right, that is the maxi dial. Model 116610LN

Yes and those lugs are too wide to be a 16610.

At a quick glance that pic almost makes his watch look like the blue dial from JC DSSD lol

That’s what I thought when I saw the pic. However, on air it’s definitely a Sub. Like you, I’m always looking at wrists in life, TV, movies, etc. I wear a No Date so that always grabs my attention.

For sure it’s an ND .. noticed upon zooming it didn’t have a date. It’s hard not to look at everyone’s watches, I’m sure most on this forum feel that way lol. My wife used to think I was nuts but now she does it too haha.

When I bought my Sub I had choice between ND or date and chose the date. Part of me still regrets it. That clean dial is amazing. You made a good decision!

I always wonder if news casters are hesitant to show off their rolex / watches on air.
Also wonder if they are advised
