Strapcode vs Uncle Seiko
I'm looking to get a jubilee bracelet for my SRPA21, I've heard recommendations for both Strapcode and Uncle Seiko.
Both look great, but the Strapcode looks a bit beefier, almost Submariner territory, when compared to the Uncle Seiko (Z199 Bracelet). Which has a better reputation in the Seiko community? Is one better than the other? |

Wondering the same, but are you sure you meant Jubilee in the Submariner territory?

When I say "beefier almost like Submariner territory", I'm not referring to the style of the links, more specifically how much heftier it looks. Specifically the clasp?
I haven't handled either in the flesh, so I'm just going off of how the pictures look, which may be deceiving, I guess. |

I just got a number of Strapcode bracelets for my Seikos and I really like them. They are indeed more substantial than the originals and so, so much easier to size. I really like their clasps with the extension system as well - it just works. I don't have pics of them all yet but here's one that may help.

I have owned 5 SC bracelete's. 3 of them had issues with stripped screws and misalignment of the endlinks holes so the spring bars would not work. Their service was not stellar by any means.
With US I have had no issues what so ever. WilliamJ is another great option. |

I like Strapcode for bracelets, Uncle Seiko and Crafter Blue for straps, Toxic Nato for Natos.

I had a similar end link type issue but with a SC rubber strap and needed your shoulderless 2.8mm ext to keep it locked in. Fortunately my bracelets from them have been OK. I have the jubilee from SC on my PADI (shown yesterday) and it's not that beefy, roughly 3.5mm thick. I have an US President (obviously not a jubilee) but much beefier than the SC jubilee. That's my favorite US bracelet.

Strapcode Bracelets
I recently bought a Seiko SBDX023. I have had older versions of the watch before and never really cared a lot for the bracelet so I bought two strapcode bracelets for it. One is a Submariner link and the other is a Jubilee link. Both bracelets are very nice quality and very nice fit to the watch. I would recommend either very highly. They come with enough links to fit Andre the Giant and the screw system that attaches the links is very good. The clasps are different and both are very nice.
