Screw Loose

Question for strap experts... the screw on my top right lug (near 1 pm) keeps coming loose.

Any idea why or anything I can do? It may have started after the most recent strap swap, but i tried switching straps and still happens.

I have a Pam048.

Thanks!

Have a look at the threads on the screw. If the screw looks suspect it’s easily replaced. If it looks ok you may have stripped threads on the case. A drop of blue Locktite will keep you secure without permanently affixing.

have you been using screw-bar tubes? if not, the strap will gradually "loosen" the screw (friction) as you wear it

Good point. Could very well be the issue.

Yeah, Loc-tite blue could help with that.

I think it depends on your location Paulie.

I don’t think I could buy screws and tubes in Oz.

I’d have to source and order overseas.

Unless I had good connections.
