Million Pound Pawn - (ITV UK)

Hey all,

Did you guys watch this?

A lady bought in a Rolex Daytona to Dan she purchased for £25 - watch was fake and his reasoning was the text was off and it weighed like 3 grams less than it should (the thing is, what if it was missing a link?) Funny that the watch was on his desk after she got paid too... Hmmm

Also, same lady bought in a gold mother of pearl Rolex - the watch was fake but the bracelet was real gold and it had a Rolex clasp too? He smashed the watch to pieces and gave her £2700 for the bracelet! How on earth can that be?

What did you folks think?

I think it’s staged. Completely staged.
I also noticed he kept the Daytona, and that fake gold Rolex looked like fake gold too. The smashing with a hammer was just for drama.

I think it’s just entertainment

It’s all set up for the drama. I doubt any of the customers are totally genuine. They need to make tv interesting.

Exactly that most all of these types of reality shows are completely staged and fake, much like many things on the net today which many gullible people always believe is true.

I think Dan would have done more investigations behind the scenes before smashing up a watch.
