I am torn between these two. Would love to hear which one would you prefer? The Smurf from 2010 fullset in good condition and the 116519LN from 2019 used fullset. Price about the same. I have a 500C white dial and a 114060. Thanks

I voted with my wallet. The WG Daytona is my daily the last couple months and will likely stay my daily into 2021 and beyond. I had the white gold Pepsi for years but the oysterflex is just better. More comfy. Weight is balanced so well. And no worry of beating up the soft white gold bracelet. The head and clasp don’t get that beat up.

WG Sub. It's discontinued. If you can get one at a decent price go for it. I bought mine a year ago from my AD with a discount fearing it was going away. I have a SS Daytona and a 114060 and the WG Sub is in another league for feel and look.

Smurf. The best thing about a PM piece is the weight, you won’t get all of that on OF.

It's such a nice piece and really pops. Plus the weight of it is very satisfying.

Don't get me wrong, I love daytonas and own a bunch...but from this choice it's cleary the smurf but lately prices have gone through the roof.

It's more a matter of what feels good for me than of appearance. Both are great watches but the Daytona would work much better for my wrist size than the Sub. It's really a choice that the buyer needs to be really clear on before buying is neither is a low priced purchase. IMHO, if outside sources need to be consulted in order to decide than it's not time to buy.
