Ermm... hate to be the one to tell ya, but that one looks defective.
Notice how the black ring thingy that has the 10, 20, 30, etc on it? Well the white bump thingy inside the white triangle thingy on that black ring thingy is supposed to be directly above the 12 o'clock reading, that way you know when it's time to eat lunch. Can't believe they sold ya a crooked watch. Get yer money back, and get back in line I guess. |

so initial thoughts. this watch is very nice. I previously had a submariner with a date that I sold. I really like the watch, but i decided to trade it for one without a date. I really like the clean no date look, though admittedly, the date function is useful.
case shape feels more curvy relative to the old six digit sub due to the thinner lugs. the watch is still luxurious but feels much more utilitarian than my previous sub (hulk.) the crown seems huge relative to my last sub. i like that. it makes changing time and manual winding a lot easier.

That's a never flip/sell watch. Others may come and go but the no date sub is timeless.

What happens when you look down at your Sub to tell the time of day? It looks pretty much like this:
Now see that top arrow in the black round ring thingy pointin' down? It's pointin' down right to another arrow on the dial at noon o'clock, right? So you draw a line through those two arrows and where is that pointin'? Do it and see. I'll be danged if it ain't pointin' right to yer tummy! Time to eat! And what do we eat? A sub sammich. That why they call it the Sub. |
