Technically, can the Oysterflex model Daytona be fitted with golden oyster bracelets in replacing the rubber strap?

No, you cannot switch an OF version to full metal bracelet. The consensus is it will not fit.

If I bought a Daytona and saw that the lug curvature did not match the end links of the bracelet, I would go straight to the Rolex head office to find out why.

Different lug hole positions in the case. I believe the end links are also removable, but still the bracelet won’t fit properly due to the position of the holes in the case.

Your best bet would be to get a ceramic bezel and place it onto a 116505
