Does Rolex RSC Hong Kong still switch 16710 inserts to pepsi?

I have been told RSC in Hong Kong does not swap inserts anymore unless your watch originally came with the one you want.
Is this similar in other parts of the world?

I am trying to change a black one to a pepsi one, but want to check first if anyone has had a similar experience.

Thanks

Rolex HK wont change it unless it’s the original it came with.

Not sure that will buy you much. From my understanding RSC is not determining the correct (i.e. original) based on what you bring it in with, but rather by looking up your serial number. The whole bring it in with no bezel thing is more about a way to get a new one and keep your existing one, whereas normally they would only offer an exchange.

Fair enough... I see your point

Hi J, I recall that they told me they won't change to other colours, but that was a few years ago.

I tried that 2 years ago, said it popped out somewhere and if I recalled it was Pepsi (originally coke btw) and when I got it back it was coke as per their “database”.....

No flexibility with the HK RSC and not much fun to deal with

Pre travel restrictions I’d actually take my watches to Rolex Singapore....much more accommodating as you could get inserts, bracelets etc as long as you bring the watch with you and no trade ins

Hi Adam! It appears it’s still the case. Hope you are well!
