Arnold Palmer Invitational

This week we get the opportunity to remember the great late Arnold Palmer who was golf’s original Rolex ambassador alongside Jack and Gary. Here’s a pic of him still rocking the Gold Sub look. RIP AP .

Hope that's me if/when I get to his age! I'll be watching this weekend.

No offence to Tiger but Arnold Palmer is the king. He was just a class act from the start to finish.

No it isn’t. I’ll reveal the whole pic when either someone guesses correctly or a couple of days have passed . Clue- he’s another Rolex Ambassador.

Completely agree. I was watching the Palmer documentary on the golf channel this year (and last) and one of the things I took away was just how genuine of a guy Arnold Palmer really was. I think the one thing that showed that the most is pretty much until his dying day he would still respond and send back signed pictures from people requesting them, he would even send the picture and letter back even if they didn't send him return postage. Since he did this so much it cost him a few hundred thousand a year in postage, but he treated everyone the same with kindness, dignity, and respect.

The world would truly be a better place if more guys like him were walking around, truly salt of the earth type stuff. At least in my humble opinion.

I can't wait. I loved watching Arnie. Guys like him, Jack and Chi Chi got me hooked into the game. Call me lame but I ordered the new Puma Arnold Palmer polo just for this weekend to go along with my Bay Hill hat.
