I completely agree. The 5207g is stunning and it ticks all of the boxes for my dream watch.

There's many that I love but I don't think I'd get them because they're not something I think I'd wear, at least not right now, like for example the Patek 5207 or 5270. So while those are the logical answer, my answer has to be something that I would wear.

I've thought about this for a while and still can't decide between two/three models. I would go for either a perpetual calendar or an openworked, both from AP. The 26574ST or 26579CE, I love both of them so I'd have to see them in person to decide if I prefer the look of ceramic or steel. On the other hand the 15407ST is just jaw dropping. If I can choose two then maybe I'd go for the 15407ST and the 5740 to have the simple time only and the perpetual calendar.

Unfortunately my wrists are too small so even if I could afford to get a 15407 I don't think I would because it is way too big for me…

It’s not a Patek, regardless of price... that’s for sure...
I’d take a timeless Sub, GMT or even a Daytona for that matter over
any PP reference ... Let the Blasphemy begin !!!

Fair enough.

My dream piece would be a PP MR of some description.

I would like a 1518, Paul Newman’s Paul Newman daytona, and perhaps a RM56-02 as a daily beater watch..Oh and also the bao dai... that watch is pretty as hell

These are my dream watches.

My dream would be the 5370 because I'd probably never buy one, the 5270 and 5740 I just might.

Leading off with a 5208P and 5131P pretty much nailed it.

A dream watch for me would be a cloisonne enamel or a wood marquetry dial watch in titanium. Since Patek rarely makes watches in titanium, except for unique pieces for charity, it would be quite special. Perhaps Patek will do a custom order like this for a super VIP client.

Also had a Nixie tube watch, the engineer only made about 25 or them. Alas, sold it to another watch friend and he fried the circuit board FUBR :( Would love to have one again.

Regardless of what you have, what’s your dream watch?

For me my patek grails are the 5711p (40th anniversary), 5740, 5131p and for sure 5270p

As all of them are not attainable, then I am happy with my 5712

5208. Saw one in person and was like what the hell. The dial is incredible. A little top heavy. 5208 and I will be together in the near future.
