Icon4 Recieved a Worrysome Email to my Direct email

Haven't had time to do to much research, but about 6 hours ago, I did PM Alfred to let him know that someone looks to be impersonating him.

Here is the email I got this morning:

Sam,

Hope all is well. I ran into some awesome deals on a few watches and was wondering if you would be interested at all. I have a Stainless steel Daytona 116520 black face V serial in mint condition for only $9,000. It's a great price on a great watch, I'm helping my brother in law find a buyer for it after running into some financial problems of his own. It has a complete set of box and papers and includes extra links. I would buy it myself but I already own two of them.

Also selling for him is a AP Volcano like new and complete for $12,000 and a Rolex Submariner 116610LN like new and complete for $6,700 If your interested let me know I'll send you some photos. I'm emailing a few past customers of mine to see if there interested before listing the watches.

Regards,
Alfred T.

It seems that the "scammer" sees where we have had connections, and uses that to think we are open to continued communications and business. In my case, "my brother in law has this and needs money...or whatever". I hope most people would know the numbers are too low, and if in fact I was asked for this "help", I would just buy them myself. I mean, right?

Yes and indication that the genuine seller's email account has been hacked and email addresses of previous customers "borrowed."

I hate scammers with passion. Karma is a b....
