Rolex 1601 date wheel question

I’m looking at buying this 1601 non quickset, but I noticed on the 26th date the 6 is closed. I went through all the other days and the other 6 and 9s are open. Why is it only the 26 where the 6 is closed?

I don't know the reason why, but it is normal. My 1680 is the same.

Likely because the other numbers are actually a little larger so it’s about proportion and font size.
