Suggested Forum Categories

Perhaps the forum should subdivide into the following categories - which seem to be of substantial interest.

- I see a flaw with my loupe.
- My watch loses/gains 3 seconds per day - should I send for service?
- My self confidence is poor - please tell me which watch I should buy.
- Scratch hating or loving.
- Confident the market is going up or down.
- Is it safe to go to (fill in location)?
- I hate or love my AD.

Probably others, these are a few.

Don’t forget to add, is it safe to wear my watch in the shower? Section. Lol. It is kind of funny to see these topics come up again and again and I haven’t been around for that long. I would settle for a like button

What about:
1) my grandpa/ uncle/ father/ sundry family member left me this watch…
2) I sent a man online $10,000. He posted me the below <insert photo of a potato>. Is this a real Rolex?
3) I have invented a ridiculous unnecessary new nickname for a watch. <cue quadruple face-palm from padi.>

What about: how difficult is it to get a diamond rainbow meteorite Daytona; should I get on the list or go gray?

Watch banter is good, keep it coming I say. Plenty of newcomers full of questions and doubts on watches that aren't exactly cheap. The moment you close doors, you kill the hobby. Let it rejuvenate itself with fresh blood.

I mean what’s the point? Not like people are going to post in the correct sub categories. For example; this thread belongs in the Jokes & Cartoons Forum but it’s in the Rolex category…

The “pick my watch for me” posts are always hilarious to me (which are different than posts where someone genuinely wants the perspective of owners on certain models and their attributes - those are fine). You’re going to rely on crowd wisdom for your personal $10k purchase? But my least favorite are any posts related to investment potential/“best buy”

TRF could certainly use a single-click log on/log off Flex forum.
