This is SO ridiculous! Antique clock give-away!

OK, so… how many years have I been doing this? Five? Six? And I always exclaim I am thinning out my collection. Well.. Today was a DECISIVE day; I have had enough. Try and imagine this scenario:

A Dorklehead has a collection of close to 40 clocks, all working properly and set to the correct time. Today, is DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME DAY or whatever the hell it’s called. Now, picture this Dorklehead spending about WAY too much time on walking around his home CHANGING THE DAM TIME!!!

I’ve had enough. I am going to reduce my collection, seriously, I am doing it. Besides this give-away I am taking the rest of the clocks I don’t want and donating them to my Antique Clock club this week for our annual charity-auction. It is for a good cause and WAY overdue.

SO, here is your chance to own an antique clock. I rehabbed this about 15 months ago and it is running perfectly. Serial number dates it to 1938, and the mirror-finish makes it an extremely attractive timepiece. Value is not much, probably $30 to $40.

Anyone interested just post in this thread, in exactly five days, 38 minutes and 24 seconds (or whenever I feel like it) I will pick a winner from random number generator. The only thing I ask is if you are international be prepared to pay for shipping and after you receive the clock post a picture of it in your house. This might be your last chance for a while as I am DETERMINED to do what I have been saying for years, cut down my collection to a reasonable number. What is a reasonable number? I am thinking 12…

… maybe 13…..

… or 14…

Good luck!

Very cool of you to give these away, Paul. However, I won’t enter as would need a voltage converter which is a bit… inelegant or something.

Paul - What an awesome person you are. I look at the clock you gifted me everyday and it reminds me of the good in people. I am truly grateful and enamored with it.

This GE model is spectacular and I am sure that the lucky recipient will display it in a prominent place within their home.

No matter what the say about you Sailors, you're alright in my book.

Now being an officer is another matter within itself........

Paul, this is most generous of you.

I can tell anyone who’s interested in entering that Paul’s clocks are amazing. I won his last giveaway and I’m thrilled with the clock. It’s so vintage cool and keeps very accurate time.

Good luck to everyone

This is very generous. I wouldn't mind helping you thin out your collection.
