if the 5726 was on a bracket I would pick that
That is hands down my favorite JLC its absolutely mesmerizing but for me the nautilus is an icon and of course a Patek |

If I may add, I usually wear my watch daily so which one is more suitable.

Both are very delicate watches. What else is in your collection is another important question.

Duometre. I fell in love with the line the moment I tried one on.

I'd wear both daily but I may not be like the majority of luxurious watches owners, therefore you may not always want to take my word for it.
In between the two above, I'd definitely go with the Duomètre. It looks incredible and is one of my favorite modern JLC's.

The 5726 is a very nice Nautilus. But if resale is a non factor, I would actually go for the JLC Duometre, but the non-skeleton version. It's a very impressive watch.

I too tried on the Patek Annual Calendar and was quiet surprised at how great it felt & looked on the wrist (and per my post on this forum, really giving this one some serious consideration as a result).
Like someone else mentioned, it could come down to what you may already have in your collection. For me, this Nautilus is a bit more versatile (i.e. formal/suit/work watch as well as a casual sport watch) than this particular JLC. Don't get me wrong, this JLC is a stunner but I think it works more (maybe for me personally) in dressier occasions...sort of how I'm feeling about the JLC perpetual calendar I tried on as well. Again, all really comes down to personal preference and how often you plan to wear either...Good luck! |

I used to have the white gold version of the Duometre - loved it! Preferred it to the other versions.
Ensure you buy the Jaeger well if you have a tendency to chop and change your watches......... |

If it was a white 5726 on bracelet, that would be my choice.
Of the 2 you're looking at, I like the JLC. |

PP's are better and I would think the tendency to want to flip would also be lower. |

Having owned both a RG and WG QL Duo I can say they are stunning timepieces. If decision was between that Patek and JLC I would opt for the JLC as that Patek does nothing for me. Now if you were looking at a 5980 I would say Patek all day long!

You don't have a 5980 now do you? If not that would be an excellent addition!

If you cant decide the safe option will always be the PP.
The novelty of the JLC may wear off over time but the PP will always be a timeless classic. Have you looked at the 5980? |

JLC the better watch, but Patek better resale value. Unless you got spare money to burn I say always go for the watch with better second hand value.

Thanks Ken, I've owned nothing but chrono for so many years so it's time to try some Moon Phase. I saw your two Duos and they're absolutely amazing.
