Went to AD today

Went to my AD today to visit and check things out.
He knows this isn't my style, however brought this out.
I'll stick to my 5980/1A.
It even had baguettes on the buckle.
I apologize for the picture quality.

Ugh. Not a fan but a least there's no worrying about bezel scratches.

Mike,
As i recall, your a fan but not quite in that configuration?

Maybe a single diamond in the vicinity of 6 o'clock would be more to your liking

If indeed so instead of the 5980/1r then our Midas Mike will have to change his nickname...

I'd love a 5711P or even (if they ever make one) a 5980P. But the 5712 model isn't my style. The asymmetrical dial and Moonphase kill it for me. I tried to like it (even in gold) but no joy.

well, it's an interesting contrast between the finesse of the nautilus & its complications against the over-the-top glitz of the stones.

Looks quite special indeed, not for me though. I think the addition of precious stones looks better on the 5960 but I usually find that it's a much nicer detail on a watch that doesn't have any complications.
