First Patek arrived this morning...

Thanks to everyone who chimed in about cutting the strap, and all the gratuitous picture posts that help me fall in love with this watch!

I probably spent 10 minutes unboxing everything before I even got to the watch!

The clasp is amazing.

I must admit, when I first saw the Aquanaut several years ago I thought it was terrible. Actually, at that time, everything in the Patek lineup was nothing special to me (into Panerai and Rolex at the time)...now I'm thinking it's time the Panerai moves on - I can't see why I'd wear it now that I have this beauty.

I thought about that but I just don't think it would get much use...thinking of letting go of the PAM...thinking either a yellow or white gold Submariner, everose Daytona, or a 5711/5712 in steel...decisions decisions...

Beautiful. I think that will be my first RG watch. It's between the 5167r and the 116515.
