Icon20 GMT Master II "Batman" or the "Dark Knight"?

Pretty disappointed by the Rolex Basel 2019 releases so far except the updated BLNR.

Someone on the forum called the new BLNR a "Dark Knight". Do you think the name suits?

What would YOU prefer Oyster or Jubilee on a BLNR?

Why must we search for nicknames. Just leave it be. Batman, Dark Knight and whatever else are all horrible

Like them or not, the nicknames help, IMO. Very cool for some collectors. One can just walk in an AD and ask for a Pepsi, instead of a license plate number, is much faster. The irony is collectors are the ones that give them the nicknames....and to the AD personnel , they can see its asked by a reasonably knowledgeable Rolex enthusiast.

BTW, I asked for the "Pepsi" and got it within 2 weeks! Super lucky, yes!

I’m not a fan of the nicknames either. Why can’t we just use the model reference?! BLNR

Someone should start a poll. I don’t like calling it Batman because it’s not the same watch. I vote bat-woman

I sometimes wonder if this is the Rolex watch forum, or some sort of kindergarten forum for 4 year olds.

My wife would love the updated BLNR so I can't argue with you. Overall I hate the comic names though.

I prefer to call it the: one two six seven one zero BLNR. My 1st grader son likes the comic names, however.
