Of course many celebs wear TT and PM - the whole point for most of them is for their watches to get noticed, the "bling factor"

Not sure photos of athletes and rappers has much to do with the buying habits of the general public.

Celebs is a very very small community as well.

TT is a way cool watch. I like my SS for normal stuff and dress it up a bit with TT.

Been promising myself a Sub TT Blue for years, was my "That guy has made it" watch when i was young shaver.

I’ve had mine since 2001. It’s a GMT with a black dial.

I'm not a TT guy, but the only TT watch i would ever consider is the BLUESY!

In my opinion (don't mean to offend anyone) i find TT grandpa-ish and sometimes tacky!

It’s ok, to each their own. I really like my TT DJ, and when buying the only other watch I considered was a TT blue sub. Basically there was no way I was NOT going to have some gold on my first Rolex, and I didn’t want full PM (as it is used as my daily for work and casual).

Some find TT tacky, or old, or whatever and “would never” get TT. Those people forget that gold was discovered long before the 80s, and was and always will be seen as a luxury material. TRF is a bit skewed as I think many here are more concerned with collectible pieces, which TT are usually not for whatever reason.

Anyways, to each their own. Just as I can’t fathom buying a SS watch that I have to either wait 5 years to obtain or drastically overpay through grey dealers (MSRP is a different story), others are entitled to their opinion of never buying TT.

Despite the SD coming out in TT, I do not think TT is going to stick. It is still a dated look, and not quite vintage-chic yet. I was a TT guy in the 90s, and I know a lot of older gents still rocking their 80s-90s TT Rolexes, so until those slip away into the past and the younger set, I don't think TT is going to make a come back.

In fact, I think yellow gold has a better chance of becoming more in fashion than TT.

Maybe this was Rolex plan all along. Decrease SS production to force more TT.

Correct! But to who? GenX and women predominantly?

Not an issue, women will always love TT regardless of generation. But as someone mentioned above, for men it may be on the down! Just my gut here.

You forgot me.... How much more of a sign showing TT is on the fashion foward trend.
Seriously, my CHNR rocked on South Beach this year. It looked really good and very fresh among a lot of prestigious watches.

I'm not sure if on purpose, but I love that you included your "Two Tone" dogs as well lol. Great looking CHNR

I like the idea of TT but each time I buy one, it does not stick. I fundamentally prefer SS and PM

I just buy the watches I like. I’m not too concerned with what is perceived to be popular or the trend.

The CHNR is just a good looking watch due to the tone of the gold along with the brown bezel. Has nothing to do with the fact it's a TT.

That doesn't necessarily mean yellow gold TT looks good. Matter of fact, since I've had the CHNR, I dislike yellow gold TT even more just for the fact it doesn't go with silver, at all.

If the CHNR was yellow gold....it would be ugly and not at all popular. Whereas, even if the CHNR was all SS with the brown/black bezel, it would still be very popular. Good looking watches are good looking watches...whether it's silver, gold, black, a mix of all, etc. It's ALL about the colors. Why is the Batman so great looking but people say the LN isn't....it's the blue color with the black.
