AP for me, but see if you can add a SS Rolex to the mix as a Rolex beater

style wise, I like Rolex. If you can buy the BLRO at around $25k brand new, then I will go with the BLRO.

Both great choices. BLRO is more durable but I would go for the Jumbo. IMO, the Jumbo is a special piece in AP's line up. It also goes with almost every attire so it is pretty versatile.

Tough call.

Personally if I was going to spend that much money on a watch I would want PM so BLRO for me.

BLRO, I prefer the ROO line and the Nautilus Genta, but 202 is obviously awesome.

You can't even set the time precisely on that AP. In your case, i'd take the BLRO, though the bezel's colours look washed out under some lighting circumstances.

BLRO. Precious metal. Rolex durability. Sporty and more versatile.

BLRO all day long. The gorgeous bezel colors (a near perfect homage to the 6542), the WG heft, and the useful complication are all in its favor.

The AP watches, with their flat bezels and visible screws, never appealed to me. Coupled with it being a SS piece, I'd never buy it.

The most important question for the OP is: which do you like better?

Jumbo gets my vote - the wow factor on that bracelet, different league. Having the 15400 the bracelet has so much detail along the tapisseire and craftsmanship. Probably not as robust though I guess.

I have chosen the BLRO as a beater and the only watch and could not be happier with that decision but the frosted gold AP version was an instant hit with my girlfriend. If you care about girls - frosted gold is certainly an eye-catcher.
She did not notice AP 15202 in real life at all, we had a few encounters where I have pointed her to it and she confirmed that there was zero bling.

Don't buy the royal oak, they're boring.

15300 and a BLNR, haha but if you forced me choose between these two, I'd probably buy the BLRO.

Other watches AP/Patek, etc do nothing for me so my vote is for the BLRO but only you know which one you prefer.

Maybe you have to see the AP in person, because when I see pictures of it, I can’t fathom choosing that over a BLRO.

I absolutely love the BLRO.

Between the two I'd pick the 15202 all day long.
