After 2 years I'm back

It has been 2 yrs since i have purchased a Panerai. I was promised several watches which never materialized so I took my business elsewhere. Until recently when I was out of town and stopped by a Panerai AD. They had nothing out that I was even remotely interested in however after talking for awhile the brought out a 268 which I purchased before it touched the counter. I then had to buy a 114 40mm for the wife to lessen the blow when I went back home. It is a stunning piece and will post pics later.

268 is a model that is greatly underappreciated IMHO. Congrats!

I bought a new YMII stainless and gold and the WWII paratrooper skull and crossbones watch by bell and ross.
My AD no longer carries Panerai and I can't get the ones I want so I simply quit playing. Which ultimately was good since I still have quite a few that are still unworn ie 270. I also got frustrated because Panerai seems to be producing watches that are very similar. Such as multiple watches with california dial. The 249 was unique however now there is one almost identical looking with blue hands and several with the dial.
I have no idea what the number of the watch I bought my wife. It has a white face second hand but no date. It just looked good with the different colored straps.

Pam 113 is white with sec hand, but it is 44mm! Sweet.

As long as you love the look, try not to care how many similar ones there are. Just enjoy

OOps. I bought my wife a 114. It just looked smaller next to 47mm 368. I meant to buy a 40mm.

You are messing up all your numbers.

You said 268 in your first post. A 268 is an 45mm 8 day Manual Radiomir with PR Fang and cyclops date.

The 368 is stunning. BIG congrats!
