How can I remove this tag without cutting?

I am trying to keep everything tied to my new watch as original as possible. However, I am having trouble trying to figure out how to remove this tag without cutting the string. Does anyone know the trick or is cutting unavoidable? Thanks in advance.

Gotta cut it...I've never known anyone to care unless you are going to try and resell it as unworn down the road.

I'm not even that OCD and I'm pretty anal about my watches. Those around here that know me can concur. Just clip it, my friend!

Thanks, everyone, for getting me to come to my senses. It's possible that this loop was applied by the seller. The folded sticker is taken from the sticker sheet. I will cut it off then.

Cut a little slit in the tag. That way the string will be whole and if the need ever arises you can tape the slit you cut and reinsert the string.

Thanks for the suggestion. I should've taken a better pic but the string passes through one of the strap keepers so string must be cut all the way through to remove it unfortunately.
