Tudor Snowflake, need your opinions please

Hi all, I might purchase this Tudor Snowflake. It was a a one owner, purchased in the late 1960's. Apparently only serviced once.

The lume marker is missing from the diamond in the second hand. I can see that the U in Tudor has flaked a bit also. Traces of minor corrosion at the bottom

The date change occurs at 1:15 AM as oppsed to midnight like the Rolex.
Since winding it last night, it has kept perfect time.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! Cheers

Can you take worse photos? I am looking for the challenge.

It is legit but the photos are far too poor to delve deep. It looks like a poorly polished 1968 but photos are blurry enough to hide foul play.

Sorry about pictures. Older iPhone, and I'm not really good at it lol

Would be a "pass" for me due to myriad serious issues not the least of which is the case condition and significant evidence of corrosion. Might clean up and serve as a respectable daily wearer if the price properly reflected the significant flaws. Just my .02

Thanks for your input. Part of me thought of buying it for the bezel insert alone. I was told it would fit my 1680 red

It would be by far wrong insert for a 1680 Red.

I'd pass - it's in pretty poor shape. But, if the price is right, and you like it - and a challenge - it might be worth it. Get the hand/s 'relumed'/stabilised, have the case refinished, get a new crystal and have it serviced. The bracelet could be refurbished, too. Probably looking at a couple of grand on top to do that lot. The insert fits fine on a 1680. I've done it. Same case/bezel assembly, and inserts are interchangeable.
