When I received mine, my SA had all the stickers and the plastic shell already removed.
I didn't ask to keep them either but it would certainly have raised eyebrows if I HAD told them that is rather take the full watch with all stickers out the store...

I guess they could have fake ones on them, no? Don't seem too hard to replicate.
