Submariner in disguise as a Datejust

It's crazy how similar the 2006 Sub looks to other models if you smash the bezel off and the bearings all disappear.

Well, there are crown guards as well, but I see your point.

Crown guards, longer crown, much higher back than many models but I also see your point. Makes it easier for Rolex to offer so many models I guess.

That watch has lug holes. It must be older than 2000. Was it nos? There wouldn't be bearings on that bezel. Looks like you are missing a click spring though. That being said, I see your point.

Far from it my friends.

The Sub and the DJ are quite different in many ways.

If you saw Zoolander 2 this month pay close attention this is the watch that's in fashion now.

Bezels are so 2015.

Basel 2016? A new line of submariners with a bezel removed! You heard it here first

Funny how the bezel can make such a big difference. I bought my Monarch knowing it needed a new bezel insert. When she saw it my wife thought it was how it was meant to be and liked it more than she did once the replacement was fitted.

All of the rolex models are very similar to each other other than the daytona.
