I'd like to buy 2 watches right now. A Panerai 643 (or maybe the 292) and a gold piece Rolex. I wouldn't keep all watches so I would trade the Daytona + DJ in a gold Daytona or another option on the same level price.
The Panerai would come trading the 116200 + $ ( this trade would be my 2nd option).

Let me know what you guys do prefer. 116518 ( blue dial), 116519 ( gray dial) or 116528 white dial. Any other option to consider?

Thank you all.

Ricardo
116528, simply due to the bracelet + head combo. I have had numerous of leather-strap versions and never really been satisfied until i proceeded with a "full gold" version. I would also recommend you to take a look on the day date 2.

This one is my absolute favorite dial!

Have seen a few SS Daytonas with this upgrade, if would purchase the PM version would probably be on leather though.

Pois é, infelizmente né. Também faço isso, só uso fora. Dirigir usando um Rolex sem se preocupar com assalto parece um sonho. Esses caras nao fazem ideia como é aqui. Abs!

Thanks ap1! Your Daytona looks amazing with this dial! Where to find a dial like that to replace mine? I think the gray dial ( the one I posted) would be nice on the ss as well.

Thanks superstarmar! The black one looks amazing also! However the gray and also blue are very hard to find. Does the blue come always with gold number and hands or also with silver?

My dial was very expensive because it came wrapped in white gold. My second favorite 116509 is the slate grey dial. I did not like the black dial as I thought it had too many red accents especially around the chapter ring.

You're buying it just to wear the watch abroad? Seems like a lot of money to have tied up in a piece you're not going to wear. Sorry about your bad experience with the sub.

This seems like the new trend for people from São Paulo. Should we name them... vacation watches Seriously, larger cities demand a lot of awareness of your surroundings, but we have a lot of members here from the largest cities in the world (so yeah, they probably know how it's like) and it seems to be the consensus that with the proper care you should be alright.

For what it's worth, have been wearing mine everyday for years, not a second thought about it. Then again, I don't live in SP...

Thats sad but true. I live in Rio de Janeiro but I've never been stolen here in my whole life. I was robbed in SP because a "spy" guy in a restaurant. I always take of my watch when I leave a place like restaurant, shopping center, etc but this time the guy gave the information for the robber and I got stolen 10 min after took a taxi.
Anyway, nowadays I wear only my DJ and sometimes Daytona but for special occasions like friends party at their houses or something like that. However , imo, watches are better "investments" than cars lol.
