Sorry but what a weird post. Who are you trying to convince and why? Enjoy your watch! Looks great!
Btw I'd prefer all oysters brushed, and I love jubilees. |

For me, the BLNR looks good on both but if I had to choose one, I'd choose the oyster bracelet. Also, for me the BLNR looks good whether it has brushed or polished center links bracelet.

Love it. I'd buy that in a heartbeat if it was a factory option. Basel 2016?

I think the watch looks silly on the Jubilee, and it looks way flashier on that bracelet. Keep it stock!

Yep. It's funny that the OP said the Oyster with PCL's is flashy....the Jubilee bracelet is much flashier than the oyster bracelet. To me, Jubilee signals a more dainty watch that is best suited for dress attire. Oyster bracelets appear more sturdy and are more suited for sport watches. |

I am a Authorized Retailer for Rolex. I like all of the looks. I have the BLNR with polished center links. If you prefer brushed links, it only takes about 5-10 minutes to have them brushed. I also have two Explorers 36mm & 39mm with all brushed bracelets. I like the variety, these are all ways to individualize the watches. It's much harder to go back to PCL's from brushed because it requires masking the adjacent links while alternating polishing the center and brushing the sides. Just remember that it's good to keep the original pieces for resale if that's important to you.

Oyster bracelet is incredible and timeless, robust and masculine.
Nothing wrong with the super jubilee but to my eye it appears to be polished down the center as well, along with a bit more detail making it more flashy than the original.

Both!
Not a great shot admittedly but I think the SJ gives the watch a really different look - vintage, yet with the ceramic bezel still modern too.

I wear it tighter than my everest, rubberb or oyster bands.
For me it's a good look and I swap out frequently in my rotation. This wrist time is appreciated. |

Jubilee does look good on the BLNR but I do prefer the PCL oyster.
Must admit Rolex do need to release something bigger then the DJ on a jubilee, I've got my fingers crossed for a DJ40 on jubilee this year or next. |

The jubilee has.......polished center links???
Was there ever a jubilee that didn't? I for one prefer the look of non polished links.

Rolex got it right with this watch, sorry but to my eye the jubilee looks way off on this reference.

Oyster bracelet for me as I feel that bracelet works much better on the Professional Series watches. The Jubilee bracelet looks the best when paired with the Datejust.
PCL's are an amazing change to the six digit reference GMT's. It adds a certain level of elegance to the watch while at the same time differentiates between the Sub's brushed bracelet. There is nothing sad about the Oyster bracelet with PCL's. |

A brushed Oyster bracelet looks the best. If I ever buy a BLNR, I wont leave the AD without them brushing the bracelet.
My vote, which you did not give a option for, is to get the oyster brushed. By the way, I HATE PCL'S.

Tried on super jubilee on to my BLNR but switched back within a few hours - the non adjustable bracelet is so inconvenient, especially for people here in CA where the temperature fluctuates a lot in one day. The easy-link is much better, I also like its original PCL look. You won't get serious scratches if careful enough, and they are easily polished by cape cod.

The question is all wrong. "Sad Oyster" versus? Why not keep it neutral and let people decide themselves without any "loaded" terminology? Having said that - I prefer the jubilee. Here's why: |

I prefer original bracelet, but to each their own.
BTW, I think it's time for a new phone or camera... |

I started off very dubious of my PCLs, wanted them brushed. Then I got a SubC and wore it on a RubberB and used the Glidelock on my BLNR. Eventually though I kept thinking that the PCL added just the right amount of bling without being too over the top and switched back. Now I wear the SubC (on glidelock) when I want to be toned down and the BLNR when I want to be a little more bold. I also switch both to RubberBs when the temp here in SoCal pops over 90º.
