It's easy being green!
Hi TRF
I bought my first Rolex last week and couldn't be happier. I was originally thinking of a BLNR but got my hands on the Hulk at an AD and that was that! I have 2 black faced divers already, a Seiko and an Oris, and I think this helped with the choice to go green. The Glidelock also helped to push me in the Subs direction.

As it's my first Rolex I didn't want the display watch and I asked if I get put my name down for the next one to arrive. Just under two weeks later I received the call and was asked if I still wanted it. I nearly chickened out, but thanks to you lot and the number of times I've read "you're a long time dead " on this forum, I said yes please. When I arrived the watch was removed from the safe, still in its coffin and the champagne was cracked open. It was a great experience.

Walked into the rolex boutique today to buy the Polar Explorer II 42mm which I didn't like on my wrist and was on the way to the door when I was blown away with the LV. Walked out with it of course.

Congrats to both of you! The Hulk is a standout choice, the dial is mesmerizing. I bought mine in December, after being on a waiting list at my AD for 3 months, and I haven't worn any of my other watches since!
