Yep - good choice....enjoy. I'm currently thinking of another white dial for my collection and the 660 is really calling to me... may do a double and get a 424 as well... best of both worlds... maybe... ah the decisions....

cheers

Pam 660 its a beauty, not 100% sure about white dial on Panerai ; it could of nail the white dilemma on my collection though

I know , I could be on 3 watches easily : 5164R, 3146P and hulk .....but by swapping Hulk by Daytona , I really didn't have a watch for more rugged situations. The Hulk was really taking care of two functions; But I think the Daytona was worth it and the Having the Pam takes care of that constant itch for wanting to come back to Panerai.

I can't justify the speedy. What for ?
Oops ,

Cheers

I enjoy watching your collection constantly evolve though! It's always interesting to see what you end up with. I'm definitely surprised you let the hulk go though, I'd think a Sub would always be in the arsenal as a 'do everything' piece.

Thanks bro, yup.... you need a Sub I totally agree, that's a safe conclusion/advise for any WIS guy. Now instead of a Rolex Sub , I have a Pam SUBmersible 🤣🤣

Cheers

Grats, gorgeous piece.

The shorter case height makes it even more awesome. The blue sub seconds hand is so easy to get used to. I saw one as well as the 1389 at the Panerai store the other day and they are both awesome

Grats again

That is a beautiful watch! I am looking at buying my first Panerai and I think the 1305 would be it.

Thx, Don't think you should, the new version of the 389 is the pam 1389 and has the blue seconds hand and the improved movement that the 389 lacks
This is funny to me.... there's been nothing wrong with the "OLD" 305 for this many years....or the 389. Now suddenly they're damaged goods "lacking" the new movement. I disagree entirely. My 305 has run like a TANK for 5 plus years, without a single issue or hiccup. Don't be a new model snob.

Sorry if I step on your toes brah , but my advise stands and I’ll tell you why.
First of all, there is nothing wrong with the old model, I am sure it runs like a tank and is a good watch.
But if you are buying the watch today , they cost the same and the new model is slightly slimmer because they updated the movement and added a cool blue hand for the seconds then to me is a no brainer go for the new one. That’s all

Cheers

OK, BRAH....but that's not what the OP said... He said "Nice congrats- someone wants to trade me for my two tone 16713t gmt for a pam 389. Been wondering if I should it. Your pics look good, am starting to consider it now :)"

To which you said no, don't do it because it lacks this, that and this... So yeah...as i said.

Yeah I still say don’t do it, he has the advantage of a new model in production why go with the older model ? Unless he legitimately like the look of the old one better otherwise don’t do it. You are taking it like I am pooping on the older model , but is not that , I am just saying go for the updated version...so as I said before .......

Looks great. Both the rubber strap, and leather with blue stitching perfect for that watch! Titanium case, makes it one of my favorite submersibles.

I only started on my Panerai voyage about 3 months ago, now I have two, and soon will have three. And I don't think this will be a temporary obsession!

Really hope you continue to enjoy yours!

Cheers,
Carl

The first time I saw this model, there existed the see-through case-back like this one. Now (on their website) it seems they still have the same model but it now closed off on the back. 42mm

Is this true?
