Infographic: James Bond & His Watches

Nice infographic of 007's watches. Interesting collection of vintage Submariners before Omega took over as an official sponsor.

Interesting. They got the model names the wrong way round on OHMSS, though.

A keen eye there Adam!

So no Rolex for 28 years hey...
Always loved the Bond movies, and still make a point to see them in the theaters when released.

Feuerball???

I remember Bond’s Seiko was my dream watch in ‘81. What schoolboy was interested in those ugly old “Rolex” watches?

I read that the lone Brietling was sold at a boot sale. Had a Geiger counter feature on it. Sold by somebody who didn't know what it was cheap and then resold for some crazy amount.

Who knows if any of that is true.

Great pictures though. Thank you.

The Breitling story is true.
A friend of mine had the watch in hands prior to the auction.

However, the NSNA watch is pure speculation.

And in TMWTGG, you can see him wearing a Submariner-Date with the exception of the 5513 closeups. Probably the same with LALD.

Love this. Can anyone confirm the story that I heard that Rolex refuses to pay for product placement, and Omega will do so gladly (which is why we haven't seen a Rolex on Bond for so many years)?

Also, the image accompanying The Man With The Golden Gun isn't a 5513. Looks like a 5508.

Cool! However, not included (also not James Bond himself) is the Pussy Galore 6542... not sure if any other characters wore Rolex (Felix, villains...)

Casino Royale was a farce, so not really a part of what we would consider the standard Bond canon. Peter Sellers also played Bond in this (there were a number of them) and he also wore a 1675. I believe Inspector Clouseau also wore a 1675...maybe the same one?
