I think it turned out great. Let the summer begin :)
Great change up indeed

RM will sell every 27-03 at $850K++, so doubt real buyers care what others think.

Sorry RM patrolman, actually I don't dislike every RM, but you seem to dislike anyone who says anything bad about RM.

Tom you've never said a nice thing about RM. Period. However, I am curious as to which ones you like...always good to have opinions.

Buy what makes you happy. I prefer happy meals. I've said it a million times--RM is a love or hate brand. That is a good thing in my book.

As to 27-03, it now has 10,000 G's shock resistance...that's impressive for a Tourb. I'll confirm pricing, but guess is around $800k. BTW, the colors are homage to Rafa's home country of Spain.

For those that want to actually read about the watch, it's all here http://richardmille.com/watch/rm-27-03/

Interesting watch but it doesn't change the fact it is really too flashy / toyish...

Boy's and their toys.

If you have $800k to drop on a watch, doubt 'flashy' is a concern

Money talks. Wealth whispers. Huge RM fan.. I've owned RM etc etc. I guess in this forum, I qualify to speak for those that bash the brand and have nothing ever good to say and have never personally owned one. I am not found of either the 27-02 or 03 from an aesthetic standpoint.. the phenomenal technical aspects of each are a different story. Personally, they are too " flashy" aesthetically and I can afford to buy the watch.

Can't please everyone. If you want kinda bland and 'whisper' there are certainly plenty of other watch choices.

RM sold every 27-02 and they will sell every -03...so good news, it appeals to a lot of wealthy people.

Different strokes--it's what makes the world go around. No right or wrong Ack. Just personal preference.

RM is the hottest brand on the watch market for a reason
Your absolutely right, that they will sell every piece and then some due to diehard fans of the brand and ultra wealthy collectors. However, that has zero correlation to not being able to critique or discuss a negative opinion about the aesthetics of a watch they create and release.

Now the RM 27-01 in my eyes is perfection and could be considered "bland" compared to the 02 and 03. It is beautifully subtle and perfectly refined RM.

Very curious of what the value of the mcdonalds watch will be in 10-20 years. Hard to imagine its going to be worth more than a casio. It looks like a childs toy for people who dont know watches which is 99% of the population. The quality of the finish is just not acceptable for that price. Hundreds of thousands and you get a mediocre finish on the movement. RM is a top notch businessman though I will give him that. PW is a fan boy.

APRP folks who makes most of RM complicated movements sad that Richard Mille is one of the most demanding customers/partners they ever had... so you can comment the looks Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but no one can blame on RM movements...

Glad you enjoyed it. I personally just dont see the value in most RM watches. Yes the movements are fantastic but I am just not a fan of the design or finish. I qm not comparing patek to RM but a big reason why patek holds their value is the history behind the brand. How are RM watches going to stand the test of time? 800k? For what?

I do not find that yellow and red watch to be aesthetically pleasing. I like Rolex sports watches, IWC pilots, Patek, APs, Langes, Journes, etc. I tend to like traditional and conservative watches. Just not my cup of tea. But if you like it, enjoy!
