Do you like blue dials?

I do. Hope everyone is doing well under the circumstances. Stay safe!

I used to have the PAM560 but sold it to a friend. As a replacement I wanted a Luminor 1950 with a blue dial and GMT. I've been eyeing the PAM1033 for some time.

While on holiday in Florence, Italy last November, I went to the boutique near the Duomo and asked if they had the PAM1033, they didn't and I kinda expected that response. At that time for some reason it was hard to find. The SA at the boutique said that production would ramp up in early 2020. Maybe she was right, who knew. They did have a few blue-dialed Luminor Due models but I wasn't interested in this product line. She finally showed me the limited edition PAM986 and I loved it. The extra complications looked very attractive and of course the gorgeous blue dial. Honestly I didn't pull the trigger then because it was significantly more than the 1033. That said, since then I just couldn't get the 986 off my mind. Recently I found another boutique that had it in stock and voila I'm a Panerai owner again! Here is my 986 catching some sun.

Yes, I love them. But truth be told I just traded both of mine (D-Blue and Pelagos) for a silver dial Vacheron Constantin Overseas.

I'll probably pick up a Z-Blue, that is assuming the world economy doesn't collapse.

Panerai has always done amazing work with their blue dials.

The 986 is a nice watch, enjoy.

Yes, I do like a blue dial... The 932 was to scratch an itch. The itch being the 670. It didn't work, so in the end the scratch got itched good and proper...

Which Overseas did you get? I used to work with a guy who had an Overseas Chrono and it was beautiful.

Both fantastic blue-dialed references.

I can see you like blue too.

The EOT complication of the 670 is quite unique and I love it. If I could pull off a 47mm I would but I think 44mm (maybe a 45mm Radiomir) is the max my wrist could handle.

Your pictures are great and have inspired me to strongly consider a Radiomir as my next Panerai.

Congrats! Lovely timepiece!

Yes the 10-day is a lot more $$$ and was lucky found a PAM01033 a few weeks back. Heard there's another shipment of PAM01033 in the pipeline and that might be the last run as they are near the 1500 run of these 'limited edition' timepieces (the SN here is in the 1200 range).

REMEMBER to register your watch with Panerai as that extends the two-year warranty to eight years

Yeah I did the online registration on the day I got the watch, but thanks for the reminder Steven!

They are beautiful but I'm not quite sure I can pull it off. Black dials are a safe bet for me.

Loving all these blue dial threads.

As Carly Simon once sung on a James Bond theme tune... Nobody does it better....

That was a great song too.

Love this watch. Have you tried this on a black rubber or black leather strap?

47 mm might be a bit too large depending on your preference but as Kaue said here, some new smaller sizes hit the web site

My pleasure, buddy. Can't wait to see the 1078 in the metal. Looks very nice in renderings.

Nice dial, loves it’s simplicity. However, I wish the case was 40mm, and the crown didn’t stick out. Otherwise, that watch would be on my list.

40mm and no big crown... I think PAMs aren't really your thing!

Hi fellas, need some advice on a fair price for the 690.

I think I need to feed my obsession but I don't want to lose my behind in case it ends up being too big for my liking.

Loved the blue on the Rad. Looks like used prices range from $9.5k to $12k, too much IMO. Talking about the 47mm case, what's your wrist size?
