Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Info?

Hello All!

So I just picked up this Montblanc from a friend who was essentially liquidating this assets.

It's gorgeous, but I can't find much about this watch or how much it's worth. I found a watch wiki about the history of it but that's about it.

On Chrono24, none of the ones listed have date/automatic.

Anyone have any info? It's automatic and listed as 1/25 with a 72 hr power reserve.

Thanks all!

Cannot find a dial like that on the net. Also, I cannot find any Rieussec with the "Twin barrels" writing.

It maybe the photo but in your picture I don't see the pusher at 8 o'clock to activate the chronograph.

Can you post a picture of the pusher and another one showing the caseback of the watch?

OK I found a very similar watch in a few replica watches websites. I'm not sure if I can post links to replica sites, but http://www.replicaswatches.co/montbl...els_21032.html

Let's hope that your watch is legit.

You won't find anything because it is a replica.

Do you realize that this is supposed to be a chronograph and there are no pushers? How do you start/stop/reset the chrono?

Just look at the horrible finishing of the bridges, not to mention the writings on the rotor that don't even follow the external profile.

Total junk.

That is a mess. That level of finishing on a watch with only 25 in existence

Not rude. Just stating the fact. I checked the MB archive and did not find this one. I did not want to call out this as fake as I am not an expert so suggested the next best thing. Call MB.

Calling doesn’t mean you break social distancing. That only applies to physical interactions.

I was being sarcastic - with a play on social quarantine.
