Oh that's not good at all. Getting smashed by an MK--not cool.

My watchmaker told me this is what they use to fix the blemish or scratch on the brushed bezel..... "Bergeon 6240 Scratch Brush Fiberglass"....

Thanks, I've seen those used before and suspect that's what was used in OP's case. Magic brushes in skilled hands.

Amazing fix from the PP guys. Wouldn’t have thought a spot repair like that was feasible. Thanks for posting your experience.

Who wants to be the first one to try this on their own ...?

Many years ago I gently tried it on the bezel of my 3710 ... disaster ~ fixed at its first service.

Looks great. Nice work! The first scratch or ding is the hardest. Once you have 100 it adds character.

Wow Interesting! I have a Bergeon #2834-C . Stretch brush with pencil shaped holder , of drawn glass. I wonder if I could carefully use it on a similar scar to yours on my 5167 R or my 5726? Scared too now after PatekSF’s post. Never have tried this pencil.

Wow, good as new! This may be great for an AP bezel as well.

Great sign of relief. Any visual difference on the surface?

Looks great now. Glad to hear they were able to fix it without you needing to send it in for a proper servicing.
