Thank you, consider my camera skills amateur at best but working at it!

Must say it’s got to be the hardest watch I’ve had to capture, trying to get the movement to not look washed out and a decent amount of contrast all while avoiding crystal reflections is challenging.

Not much difference between Rolex and AP? Do these people mean in the same way there’s not much difference between a BMW and a Ferrari?

TBH I’ve not gone over the whole of that topic, sure it’s on the Daytona Vs Royal Oak one?

Anyways I do find people can get very defensive of a brand they hold close to their heart, I get that but in my mind you can’t compare AP to Rolex really!

I have both and will continue to but the answer to which is better will be down to the question asked.

Will add though if I was asked which brand I prefer it’s AP without a shadow of doubt but thats my personal choice.

For me, if compare finishing, there is no comparison between AP and Rolex. AP is in another league altogether.

Movement aside just having both my Royal Oak and Seadweller next to each other you can see the different level of finishing between the two, the RO is more intricate and precise, but the Seadweller has the more robust finish.

So again depends on the question, if you asked me which has the higher level of finishing that’s easily the RO but if you asked which has the more durable finish the RO wouldn’t be the answer.

It would be fantastic if you could share a video review of the watch; I cannot find an interesting one and you certainly have the camera skills and interest in the piece to produce something special!

How dare you post this

Given your taste in watches I understand why it has to fight for wrist time but would of thought to contrast the style of RM the OW would work well in a rounded collection.

Want to get some more macros of the double balance wheel in slo-mo and some time lapse of the movement.

Fantastic pieces, everyone. These qualify as grail candidates for me! I used to think a PM watch was my ceiling. Now, you’ve enabled me further. Onward and upward! Cheers.
