Hi folks! I'm in the Coquitlam area. I have a few questions to ask regarding selling my Rolex.. not sure how to go about it (i.e. locally or on the forum). I'd like to touch base with one of you. Please PM me if you have a spare moment. Thanks!

Hello Dav..and welcome to the 'Boards' ...
Re: selling your Rolex.. If you are able to, list it on the 'For Sale' section of the boards.. with pictures (as best as possible...). Search the boards, to see what you have that you want to sell, in relation to other pieces of the same model/series/style, etal....- This will help your 'post for sale' .. in relation to what is out there.
You may have something, that someone is looking for...
Pictures and details, are essential to procure a 'potential' sale...!!

Thanks for the reply but I was thinking more in the line of what to be careful for. How to transact (ie. which payment method is safest and can't be reversed on me). Where to have the watch appraised locally, etc. I'll do some more searching on the forum.
Dov

Vancouver guy here as well. It would be great to meet a few more TRF'ers. I've been getting together with local Paneristi for a few years and its always a good time. Hopefully something gets set up soon!

Kev is right. The local Pam gtg's have been great. Last one in January was totally thrown together into an impromptu luncheon with double digit ppl available. Let's get something going during this first round of Playoffs...hopefully before any type of DT city shutdown due to potential arson/riot happens.

Just a heads up in case anyone is looking, but the Montecristo flagship has a BLNR not on display but available for sale. Tried it on today - what a stunning piece in person!

I think my watch-buying needs to come to a stop ;), but I'd still like to meet the local Vancouverite watch enthusiasts. How about a evening where we meet for drinks and talk about watches and other things?

I tried to put something together in the summer 2011 for a Vancouver Rolex group meet but it didn't work out. We seem to be all to busy with jobs, family, etc. to make it work. I will watch the posts to see if another attempt is made for a gm.

...Thanks J.Alan....for keeping this 'Alive' ..- -Maybe we 'all' could make this a ' Happening' some time soon, - either at year end..(which could be a challange..)..or perhaps in the New Year.
It would be kool if we all could put it all together...
Im game..!! Bud!!
