Average number of years an AP models stays in production?

Does anyone know the rough average or a resource to point to for modern era watches by model and how long each iteration stayed in production?

It really depends, there is no standard. It ranges between four to eight years roughly for most references though. Even with the limited editions the production schedule usually spans in excess of a year unless it's a very small batch, but even then I've seen very low production pieces come out of Le Brassus two or three years after they were released and it was a batch of say thirty pieces.
