AP Dial Swap Options?

I saw some people in the forums talking about the dial swap and getting a different colour.

My watch black 15500st (bought at Miami Boutique) recently had some issues with minute hand being slow. I also requested for the dial swap to AP service centre, but they said per AP’s policy, they don’t allow us to change to a different colour once it’s sold.

Any thoughts on that?

Probably they allow to swap dial color only for models that no longer available at the boutique (old models).

Just my guess!

The watch has to be in production for at least 5 years before they allow dial swaps. After 5 years they will allow switching to black, grey and silver. Blue dials are off limits as they are considered “limited”. Also keep in mind that they will not return your old dial. I got this info from APSC, Clearwater.

There was a thread on this forum before that mention about swap from white to blue from AP service center.

I saw a person who swapped a 15450st from silver to blue which he bought at the end of 2019, they also allowed him to keep the original dial (done in Ottawa service centre in Canada). That's why i asked this question.

Btw, APSC in both Ottawa and Clearwater told me it is not allowed for 15500st.
