First AP Tourbillon
Hi guys,
I'm planning to get my first tourbillon but I am lost between the Royal Oak tourbillon 26522OR or the Concept tourbillon GMT 26589IO. I'm in love with both but sadly cant afford both. I love the 26522OR because of the bracelet but the dial of the 26589IO is dam sick. Size wise the Concept GMT is very big for my wrist but the RO fit my wrist nicely. I'm also pretty worried will I be able to pull of wearing the concept GMT down the road when I am in my 50-60s. Any feedback and which is a better buy and why ? Also how is the value down the road for this two models ? |

I prefer the royal oak instead of the concept but which one do you prefer?

I prefer the Royal Oak myself. I feel I might eventually get bored of the concept.
I think the Royal Oak is the more timeless & elegant design of the two.

If you already have RO rose gold in your collection, go for Concept, otherwise RO rose gold, it's stunner.

I think when you are 60 and we have flying cars, cyber trucks and other future things the concept might just fit perfectly.
I like the concept, if I had the spare cash I would get the concept without a second thought. |

RO on size alone. But if size be darned and it’s about wowing other WIS, the concept!
No wrong answers here IMO. |

Strong first post.
The solution is very obvious to me. Get the concept and a 15500OR or 15400OR for the bracelet. You may even get a good deal with the bundle. Done. |

Really depends what else is in your collection but I lean towards the concept if you have the wrist for it. The original was made almost 20 years ago so it can stand the test of time and its a very unique design and has a useful complication.

Up to this level, get both if you have the wrist for the Concept.

I really like the royal oak dial a LOT but I couldn't find the right metal/dial color for me so I Just bought a Vacheron Constantine overseas tourbillon...arrives tomorrow.
Did you look at that as an option? |

Can't go wrong with any of these.
Since you already have a RO, I would go for the Concept. But if it wears to big, combine both of them and go for an RO Tourbillon Openworked. Value wise, I think the concept trade for below retail. Don't know about the RO. |

A solid chunk of rose gold like that is just as hard to pull off as the concept IMO.

Assuming you are Singaporean I imagine you have a fairly small wrist so I would say the RO but I would get the steel iteration. A bit more understated.

The RO is a classic , but the concept is awesome if you could pull it off. Report back with pics on which one you get.

The concept is a more unique piece in my opinion.
