It was posted on one other TRF thread, and is my understanding, the Rolex Explorer released last year (2016) at Basel, with the lume on the 3/6/9, is reference number 214270-0003. The previous model with the white gold on the 3/6/9 is reference number 214270-0001.

Ok so this my second post today! This baby is my fave of the Rolexes I've owned incl the SD4K and 114060. It's amazing how the matte dial changes color dependent on the lighting. I couldn't ask for a more legible dial and the lume is outstanding. The bracelet is super comfy. This ones a keeper! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This is the only pic I've made so far. There will be plenty of opportunities for more pics down the road, because this watch isn't going anywhere!

I joined the Rolex club recently with a 214270 Explorer. It's been bittersweet.
Not even a week in and I got a nick on the bezel... grrrrrrrrrrr. Doesn't show in the picture but it's definitely bugging me. Had to be on the bezel so I see it every time I look at it didn't it? It's also not keeping +/- 2 seconds per day, it's running on average +4 per day. I might send it in to get regulated, I'll wait a month or two and decide. If I do I will see if the bezel can be refinished or replaced while it's at the service center. I do love it, it's been my grail watch since getting into watches. It's absolutely beautiful.
