NATO STRAPS- this is why.

I have sensitive skin and especially in the hot sun I tend to get prickly heat. Until I wore NATO straps I wouldn't wear a watch as even my wrist used to get itchy. Problem solved. And obligatory holiday/watch pic!

Looks great!
I have a problem with my wrist swelling up adding as much as an inch.
I put my watches on NATO for the summer.
Easy adjustment - problem solved!

I didn't think I liked Nato or fabric straps but I love mine on my TBB.

NATO STRAPS- this is why.

I'd like to see a blnr on a selection of them.....and I'm finding it difficult to find nice ones for my expii. 21mm lug to lug isn't common.

It shouldn't but it does. I have a red one but it doesn't look anywhere near as good

Comfortable & right at home on my faded 16800 matte.
I like nato's but for some reason only on older Rolex or newer stuff that came with as option. Just seems wrong to put a new ceramic model on a strap.
I know it's a mental thing but hey part of my watch coo-coo-ness!!! Lol

I do like canvas straps but not a fan of the nato. I don't like that extra piece that then tucks back under. Good view of what I am talking about in the first picture. That drives my OCD nuts.

I wear them quite often and enjoy them a lot. Two new ones on order as I post.

Looks good
I, too, often put an orange nato (or rubber) on mine in the summer. Works great IMO

I've recently discovered rubber NATOs and RAF straps, and the rubber RAF hasn't left my watch. I wear my watch in the water quite often, so I get a little tired of regular NATOs being damp all day. Rubber (and Perlon) solves this problem.

This is the Benetto Cinturini rubber one piece NATO (RAF strap.) It essentially looks just like my Horween RAF from the Hodinkee Shop, but it's more functional.

Funny, that extra piece that tucks back under represents a small victory over my OCD.

I'm not a big fan of NATOs because the folded tail bugs me.

Perlon, though, gets used fairly often:

That said, I do have a few NATOs in the strap box:

I love the canvas straps that Tudor did for the Black Bay watches. Thick canvas, sewn in spring bars (so the watch sits flatter), and a nice traditional buckle, with a little Tudor bling. I would love to find something similar, but with a selection of colors (and without the just crazy Tudor price point).

NATO and perlon are my current choices too. Can anyone recommend any NATO straps for my GMT? I want to add some more.
