Rolex 1680 1970 white dial
Hi lads, I have recently purchased a rolex submariner 1680 dial and handset.
Could someone tell me if this dial would match up with a 1680 from the early to mid 1970s? |

Early to mid 70’s would be a Red Sub Dial.

Hi thanks mate. Yes a red dial is something I have been unable to locate. Since i will be wearing this i am happy to go down the white path.

great dial and handset, this is a service unit. Service dials aren't ranked as highly as original dials on the desirability scale but in this case I find the service dial more appealing from an esthetic point of view than the original. This is a purely a personal point of view of course, but they do look nice!!

Hi, I agree, I will never be able to obtain a red dial, so this set will look fantastic.
