Yes it's green!!

After much agonizing, many trips to my favourite AD, I finally made the decision to purchase an LV! I had been comparing the LV to the GMT IIC and simply found that I liked the look and feel of the LV over the GMT IIC, it was the one that "sang out" to me. The GMT IIC is a stunning watch, and the bracelet is a huge improvement over the old style Oyster unit, but the one thing I just could not get my head around was the Supercase. The wider lugs, in my opinion, just don't look quite right proportionally with the bracelet, and on my skinny wrist it, was just that little bit off. The LV on the other hand fit like a glove, and though perhaps a bit controversial, I really have grown to love that green insert! I have a 5513, and a 16600 SD, and the green really differentiates it from the others. As well though not terribly limited, it is certainly much rarer to see walking around on other wrists.

I took a few shots unpacking the new baby from the shipping box that my AD provided along with the standard box.

Nothing like a fresh box!

Getting closer

Can almost breath!

Getting undressed!

Lots of stickies!

Happy new home!

Finally on daddy's skinny wrist! Mmmmmm good! Much happiness

I'm beginning to think I may need a 12 step program! This Rolex obsession is getting out of control, two watches within a month and a half is crazy, I haven't even got used to my new SD, and I seem to have been unable to stop myself from buying this LV! I have to stop visiting this site, it is driving me to the poor house! But what a ride it is, I cant remember being so fired up about watches and the Rolex bug just seems to grow and grow

Thanks for sharing....

sweet! As mentioned in other posts, pics do not do justice to the real color of the geen bezel of the LV!
Wear those beauties in good health!

Wow...if I wasn't fearful that the green would clash with my sapphire and diamond wedding bands, I would lovvvvve an LV. The intensity of the bezel is both powerful and elegant at the same time! Splendid!!!

ps, I'm really loving the new inner ring. I know the field is split on it, but I don't have as big a problem on the over branding as some do; I just love the added layer of dimension it provides under the crystal. My opinion :-)

Awesome choice! Green is growing on me.

All you need at this point is a classic GMT II, I recommend Pepsi ;)

Congrats. Beautiful watch!! I almost purchased one as well several weeks back. Knowing myself, I would have probably kept it in the plastic case and not wear it, I would be afraid of touching that virgin watch hahaha...Take good care of it!!
