This or That: SkyD blue + WG Daytona Oysterflex OR Patek 5712

Cost being equal, two great Rolexes or one Patek, what are your thoughts?

JCZ has other watches to fill that variety bucket.

Wow for me i would say Patek 5712 as SkyD is too large for me!!

This is a virtual tie, if you have a larger collection than 12 if like under 7 watches then the SkyD 19 combo. Are obtaining these 3 even possible......

Personally, I’d go for the two Rolexes and use the SD for work and the Daytona for casual. Perfect 1-2 punch.

Easy choice and have had many Pateks, get the two Rolex. Better diversity, wearability, and durability by choosing the Rolex pair. Also, the bezel on the Patek is a scratch magnet imho. The SkyD is my daily beater and sooo love how you set the time, etc versus old school push pins. Rolex really amazes in real-world use for me.

Let's see.......we're on a Rolex Forum........hard to imagine what the majority will say. Anyway, if its variety you want, then go with the 2 Rolex. If its based on a statement watch, the Patek for sure. Enjoy, either way!!!!!

I love the 5712a....but not enough to trade two top notch Rolex for it. I'd replace the skydweller with a nice GMT instead though.

The 5712 is one of my faves so would be very hard to turn down, so I'd take that and then add a sub or whatever Rolex asap, if you don't have one. Ideal would be Josh's combo above of course.

Two of Rolexes best and not one of Pateks...so the answer is obvious IMO!

I agree, the patek is great, but I also feel it is overpriced

Yeah, I completely understand, I like to wear my watches and real world capabilities are crucial

Really? As much as I love my BLNR, I feel the SkyD would be the ultimate GMT

Well, if you can afford the Patek, then it should not be an issue picking up the two “cheap” Rolexes a little down the line
