SeaWolf: Cobra yellow or Volcano Black -- your thoughts?
Even since I sold my SteelFish, I have been lurking at the SeaWolf, however, I cannot decide whether to get the Cobra yellow version or the Volcano black (batons). I love the look of both watches, even though they do give out different signals.
I am worried that the Cobra yellow version will be too colorful to wear at e.g. work (office, research), but on the other side I am worried that the Volcano black version will be too conservative (dull/boring). Also it should be mentioned that I have never had any colorful watch (the closest is a white/silver faced SteelFish), and in my current 'collection' I have a Panerai 305 and a Planet ocean - both have black dials. What are your experiences with the two versions of the amazing SeaWolf? Pros and cons? Thanks

Be bold and go with some colour. Get the yellow and wear it with confidence; who cares what the office thinks. Chances are no one will even notice what is on your wrist from one day to the next.

Get the yellow. Just make sure it's the new cobra yellow and not the older abyss yellow. The older yellow was washed out and very pale.

If I go for the yellow version, it will definitely be the new model. I like this nuance of yellow much better.
I don't care what my colleagues at the office think about my watches - actually I have been wearing a 47mm Panerai the last 1.5 years, and nobody commented it :) If am just worried how it will look, since I have no clothes that match a yellow watch :)

The input so far is rather clear ;) Luckily I have the opportunity to see the Cobra yellow SeaWolf IRL this friday.
Anyone who has pictures, they want to share?

Hard choice, Yellow is great, although nothing wrong with the Volcanic Black.

But hey, that is the old black version of SeaWolf, not the Avenger II Volcano black, right?

They are both beautiful dials, whichever you choose will be great! That being say, I prefer the yellow as well.

COBRA Yellow by a 1,000,000 miles. Nothing else like it...
