Sorry I haven’t got the darker grey anymore. I think you’re right though, the darker grey could look good on the rose gold as it’s a warm grey.

Looks great Ash - it’s amazing how many different colour combos work so well with your Plat ROO

Thanks everyone, after a few days on the wrist I feel that it’s definitely a winning combo. AP are making me a custom GP style strap in mid blue and I’ll post photos when it arrives.

Can I ask how much they are charging for the custom? I'm thinking back to getting a custom gold stitch on the alligator, maybe this year's price will be nicer.

TBH I’ve no idea as I haven’t asked but if a rubber strap is £310 and an alligator is £700 then I’m guessing somewhere between £500-£700.

I looked back at the quote they gave me last year and it was £750 for the custom stitch on alligator, they quoted me £440 for the beige alligator and probably the same for the black ones. Price of the grey rubber was £250 then, now £270 so the alligators are probably £500 now. So you may get it for a bit less.

Wow thanks, I’ve heard people talk about a Ferrari tax, I know for certain that there’s a wife tax & now it seems that there’s a platinum tax!

Is that not the GP - I paid something like that for mine. I was just email quoted £270 for the grey rubber.

I'd be surprised if there's just a £40 differential between the simple rubber straps and much more complex leather GP ones.
