Rolling Stones

Forgive me if there’s another thread on this that I missed. I searched but didn’t find anything.

Anyone else got tickets for The Rolling Stones upcoming No Filter USA tour? It’s been my father in law’s dream to see them in concert so when the opportunit arose I snagged four really good floor tickets for my in laws and my wife and I.

Truth be told I didn’t grow up with them so was only aware of the hits, but have been listening to them in heavy rotation last few weeks and I have been converted to a big fan. Very excited to see them live this summer!

Not saying they've been around a long time, but when the band formed,
Stan Musial was still playing for the Cardinals.

..but true.
.
They're coming to Vancouver in May...
I remember seeing them with Billy Preston in Buffalo, NY June 1975.
It was a 'trip' then...

They are coming back to buffalo and I’m super tempted. Feels like I’ll regret not seeing them once.

All I'd ever seen was video of them performing. When I finally got to see them live, I thought, "I'll be darned, Mick Jagger really does move like that!"

Always worth seeing them. You won't be disappointed.

I saw the tour in Houston last July just months after Mick’s heart procedure. They are timeless, he was prancing around like a teenager. They’re coming back to nearby Austin in May but I’ll be on an already planned vacation.

Yeah, I got tickets for the Minneapolis show in May via AMEX last week. That will be my fifth time, starting with the 1981 tour. Happy to have the chance see Charlie and Keith once last time.

I still love the story of Charlie punching out Mick in Amsterdam, as told by Keith in "Life".

Not a fan of the big arenas.....last best Stones concert I attended, June 1972 at the Winterland in San Francisco.
30 years later saw them at PAC Bell baseball park in San Francisco......last big concert venue I attended.

You won’t see Keith Richards smoking, he just gave up cigarettes. He said it was harder to give them up than it was quitting Heroin.

Saw them in 2005. Mick didn't stop moving the entire time. Impressive and the they kept the crowd on their feet the entire time. He didn't really sing though. He more or less talks the lyrics.

Saw the ‘Stones in 1989 in Miami for their 1st farewell tour. Good show, but 30 years later they’re still on a farewell circuit...
